Since 2022, MC Paper has been the first artisan paper workshop to be officially recognised
by the Lombardy Region

THROUGH GENERATIONS.
A Craft with roots dating back to the 1300s, when the First Paper Mills of Lake Garda were established in the Paper Mill Valley of Toscolano.
In this little hamlet, the MC Paper artisan workshop creates handmade paper every day.
This paper embodies seven long centuries of history, passion, expertise and innovation that have been handed down through generations to the present day.
THE MC WATERMARK
An authenticity mark designed to grant the paper a touch of exclusiveness, created with the intent to represent the bond with the present and the historical tradition, between who we are and who we were in the past.
The letter M plays the leading role, as the initial of the MC Paper artisanal
paper mill's founders, by being recreated in a modern style.
The letter C forms a strong aesthetic contrast and resembles a crescent moon,
a watermark that was mainly used by the paper mills of our town,
Toscolano Maderno.
The historic "C" - which immediately brings to mind the Italian term for paper "Carta"- intertwines with a modern M, a bond that fully represents the essence of MC Paper:
a centuries-old tradition turned into a contemporary craft.
